NBA 2k6 and NBA live 06

can anyone tell me if their is a difference? or if their isn't.. i googled.. but can't find anything about the differences.
 
the 2k... series is from SEGA. ESPN is the primary advertiser and ESPN personalities are all over the place. I have 2K3 and 2K5 NFL Football games for the XBOX. I think they are the best out there (even better than MADDEN).

NBA LIVE is a product of EA Sports. I have NBA LIVE 2003, 2004 and I think they are the best NBA games out there.

It is personal preference. And I did not go through extensive research of testing before I made my decision. In 2003 I liked the cover of NBA LIVE (Jason Kidd fan) and I liked the cover of NFL 2K3 (Urlacher is on the cover).... simple as that. I got used to the way both games play and like nothing else.

I would purchase NBA LIVE, I know I will be purchasing 2005 soon (I tend to stay a year behind.... too many other things to do).

EDIT: MADDEN is EA Sports. There is also ESPN NFL FOOTBALL it is also be sega. I heard it is really good but never played it (a little bit off topic since you are asking about basketball...)

so sega makes 2k6 and ea makes live?

now i have live 06. is their any difference in the versions? rosters, gameplay, etc..

Well yeah... I would imagine each company makes their product a little bit differently. I like when LIVE 2005 came out with the Ea sports freestyle control... I like that feature. The best way to truly deside which game you like the best is to go to your local video and game rental store and rent all of the versions, play them, and decide what you prefer.

oh thats cool.. the thing is i dont mind the gameplay or anything like that.. i just like good graphics..

Well I have live 2004 and am very impressed with the graphics.. I would be shocked it '05 wasnt a lot better... so '06 better be A LOT better!

By the way, are walking about PC, XBOX or PS2 Live 06?
 
i prefer the ESPN games more especially since they started making it for hockey because NHL 2003 (EA Games)...etc. were pretty bad
