Need a blood glucose pie chart

My doctors and nurses are worried that my diabetes in not in control.

To this aim they have advised me to test my blood sugars 4 times a day and not them down. The nurse said try and find a simple pie chart you could use to show the daily/weekly trends.

I have searched this forum, I have googled them but nothing springs up.

At my age I am not very techinical, so I am asking if there is anyone who could point one out for me or even got one they could send.

Would be very grateful.

Many thanks

Thanks for showing me this looks excellent, but if I was to send what I made out of it it will show that although I require 4 headers

Before Breakfast - Before Lunch - Before Tea - Bed Time : It only gives me the two middle ones.

Also I would like the dates below to be for 7 days, starting today till next Tuesday.

Could you advise on this please,

Many thanks

It sounds like you'd be better off with a line or bar graph reflecting glucose levels over time.

Pie charts usually just give you easy percentage comparisons.

Definitely a bar graph. Tell me what you'll have in columns and rows and I can send you a quick table. You'll just have to create the graph after each input.

Ok Ive tried the line chart, looks better though same problem, I need a 4th heading column and 7 lateral lines (days of the week).

Many thanks, I have 4 Headings - Before Breakfast, Before Lunch - Before Tea/Dinner - Bed Time

And 7 lateral lines with the day and date for one week: ie: Starting with Wednesday 13 April etc.

Is there a way to send a file through this ?

Yes I got it, I'll do this during tomorrow or the weekend as I've been doing field work the whole day :)

Hey, I am a type 1 diabetic diagnosed about a year ago with a BG of 696 mg/dl. I've found myself that pie chart's dont display my glucoses well and I prefer a bar graph. It's easier to interpret in my opinion.

Sorry I had so much things to do this weekend. I've just thought about it and what I can give you is basically a table for a week (like a template). It's actually something that you can do unless you know nothing of Excel (which is totally fine). But if you've used it before just do a table and then once you want to see the evolution, you'll need to select the data you want to compare and insert a graph. Again I can do this but it's really basic Excel. I'll help you if you don't know how to do it.

I know I used Google Sheet, but the basic concept isn't any different in excel. Have you looked at it and does it cover what you want? If so it's really easy to extend that to more days.

Did you send an attachment with this as I cannot see it.

Not yet, I was asking if you still need it because it won't be an amazing table, just basic excel. If you want I can do this right now and attach it in the next 10mins :)
