Need a cheap Laptop ... Any Ideas?

I need a cheap laptop for school, it doesn't need to be able to do much, only handle office '03 and be wireless enabled, anything up to £350, not much of a budget i know, but does anybody have any ideas where i can buy from or what i can buy? Many Thanks, James

Welcome to computer forum.

now-adays you can get a laptop cheeply. i only know american dollers so dont know the conversion but most computers are cheep. However if you get a cheep computer. it will come with vista. and if you get a cheep one it may still only have 512 mb of ram and that will not run vista so you may want to go back to xp. i know dell still has xp for sell on 1 or two of there laptops. i would check there.

you could try dell or hp

their prices tend to be cheap on their entry-models
