And it has to be like a brand or something, because I really don't have any time to build it.

What's the best one for that price range?

computer shows ++++... if there is any where you live.. u can probably get a complete set w/ monitor, printer, speakers, mouse, keyboard.. yups.. although it may not be dell, hp, gateway.. etc.. they're pretty reliable

but if not.. you have to look out for sales..

you can always get an HP or something from bestbuy, sometimes you can get them for like $400 after rebates.

I have one and I am typing from it right now. Love it. Came on time, worked outta the box, I'm very happy. Not to mention it was cheap!! :D

Well, if you absolutely don't want to build it yourself, then yes ibuypower or cyberpowersystems would be good.
but, if you have a copy of windows XP i'd really suggest building it yourself, it turns out to be alot cheaper with better proformance and deffinatly helps you learn how to solve computer problems and stuff.

Curious: what happens if you can get it built before it arrives via shipping?

Hell ya!

LOL, I'm sure that even if you cool it below zero temps and OC it, it still won't play Battlefield 2...
If you have the competence to run a machine below 0C you can get it to play that buggy game.
