hi, so i ve used g-parted before, but on older machines. i have a bootable disc of it, but it dont seem to work on newer machines, just older ide type machines. ive downloaded the new live cd and burned it but it doesnt work. so i am wondering what are some good partition editors that i can use from a disc to boot from. i would like this to be able to copy partitions, entire drives, and all the regular functions like growing and shrinking, marking bootable and managing flags, as well as it be one that i can boot from and work independantly of wondows. any help wpild be great, and instruction on how to fet it to work as a live cd...thank you
