hey im shayne and i been around computers for a long long time but this is what i dont get' about a desktop selling on amazon here the link'

ok so it says on it Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core Processor G630(2.70GHz, 3MB Total Cache)

correct me if im wrong but it post to have 2 processor and 2 cpu but if you look close and read it says Processor Count {1}

is it a rip off of a pc /scam cuz i was thinking about buying that pc from amazon it says the same thing on gateway.com tnx you ' hope yall can help me out

No, it doesn't support virtualisation. http://ark.intel.com/products/53483

See the last section in the specs under Advanced Technologies.

For VM ware you need a minimum of the g2130, although that cannot do direct hardware virtualisation, so it depends on what you're trying to achieve.

And yes, i'd trust Amazon.
 
tnx you i was just going to use vmware for like installing program etc on it' and what not ' oh and do you think this computer is any good ' and i was planning on installing my old gpu on the pc if i do buy it '
 
Ok couple of issues with your plan.

First, it wont do any kind of virtualisation.

Second, the PSU in that machine will not provide sufficient power to run a discrete GPU.

I would recommend posting your budget (max) and your use case, plus what gear you already have (e.g. windows licence (needs to be retail), keyboard, gpu etc etc) and put it in a new thread entitled "help me build a pc".

And if you're happy to build your own pc, then the guys will give you the best option.
 
hey um do you know what a broken pipe mean it says it on my other pc thean it wuld not turn on anymore lol i try to change the wire remove ram etc
 
yea when i turn my other pc on it came up with a black screen saying broken pipe and after that it wuld not come on anymore' yea i never seen it happend before this the only time '
