Need a little help in choosing the laptop

I would very kindly ask you lovely people out there to tell me which one of these two laptops would be best to get

HP G61-429SA Notebook PC Intel Pentium Dual Core
500GB HDD 4GB RAM WIN 7

or


Sony VAIO EE3E0E

I'm desperate for new laptop and kind of tossing between two so any help/advice is welcome.

From those 2, I would take the Sony. It has a better processsor, is lighter, not that it makes much difference, but it has better graphics, and generally I have found Sony customer service to be much better than HP when it comes to computers, but that isn't to say HP have bad customer service.

What is your budget for this?

I was looking up to £350/380 really, can't at the moment afford to spend more and I really need to get new laptop.

I assume this system will be used just for using the internet, office software, music, videos etc?

thats the same laptop i have my hard drive is 400gb i paid 300 great laptop
