I have a HP AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+ 2.6GHz 3 gig ram, direct x10, windows vista, and NVIDIA geforce 6150se nforce 430. Everyhting here is perfect for my needs except the graphics card. The graphics card is fine for basic needs like HD video, movies, and non graphically enhanced computer games. But when i try to run many other games it lags alot to the point where you cant even play it. So im looking to upgrade and im not sure what kind of graphics card will fit in my computer. Im looking for somehting that has about 512 or up and under 400 dollars. Any suggestions?

For $15 bucks less, you can get the regular version and OC yourself.. if you're into that sort of thing. Alternatively, you can shell out alittle bit more.. for alittle bit more in the GTS.

I have pretty much the same setup you do and have the same integrated graphics you do and i understand what your talking about. What is your vista index score? I had i think a 3.2 score and it went up to a 5.2 after i installed an xfx 8600gt xxx zalman. If your looking to save money and have good graphics i recommend that card. Programs like media player are way more responsive and my frame rates trippled in LFS.
