need a new monitor

Well I need a new monitor for my Vista machine...

I was wondering what a good monitor would be; I am looking for an LCD unit that can play dvds (and maybe blu-rays in the near future) and well as high end games...

this computer is mostly a gaming rig but also does mutimedia......NOTE: I am looking for a unit that is 20-24 inches and widescreen....however I have a strict budget and can not spend too much

about 200 if I can but its slightly flexible.....I have been looking on eBay for sometime now, I found a few 22s that are around that price (used) but I am scared of purchasing a lemon
 
Personally, I wouldn't trust going off ebay. Good chance you'll find a dead/defective pixel that way. But thats just my opinion
 
yes there are things ebay is good for and also things its bad for-!

ive nearly purchased a lcd off ebay and when i asked if there was dead pixels the seller says he cant garantee there will be none-even though it was second hand........

if you do purchase off ebay ask-they might say that there is a returns policy when the item is brandnew

as for the screens themselves im impressed with acer-19" widescreen-5ms response time-£130 from argos
