Hey, I am looking for a new moitor hense the name of the thread. The main purpose of this monitor will be for gaming, but I will also need it to preform day to day things such as websearching, online chatting and what not. Like in other posts I have been told CRT are better for gaming, but well I do have limited room and looking more toward a LCD screen. But I am up for CRT suggestions as well. My spending limit is between $100-$300 USD. Pref looking for a 17" screen with a response time from 12ms-16ms (lower the better please). Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Here's what I have. Great monitor. I do some gamming and I have been very pleased with it. Just realize, if you want very sharp images, you must run it at 1280x1024(or the max res, as with any LCD...)

Thats a cheap, 12ms response LCD, looks pretty good, and a well known company.
