Need advice on build

Budget = around $1700

life expectancy
= 3-4 years, with little to no upgrading

Purpose = gaming, but as time goes by, i will have less and less time to do so...by year 3-4 i will have almost no free time what so ever, but would still like a responsive (fast) computer for school work.

I am planning on getting the Q6600 go, with the thermalight 120 ultra extreme, and over clocking that to around 3.0 Ghz. (NCIX raised their prices $ 40 overnight, ****)

I need a motherboard that will last, and give me over clocking results with my quad.

Ram seems to be the same...I wanted to get 4 gig of basic DDR2 800, i shouldn't have trouble over clocking the quad to 3-3.2 Ghz?

GPU, gonna wait for the 9800 to come out, then buy it, should last me until i have no more time for it.

HD = Samsung spinpoint 320gig
Monitor = Samsung 226BW 22in
Case = Antec 900 case
PSU = ?
Ram = 4 gig ram, ozc platinum, 4-4-4-15 timings, 800 Mhz

** i will be ordering my q6600 tonight from ncix most likely, as i heard there will be no stock for a while starting monday**

so, need advice on MB + PSU, if ram will let me overclock, and whether to wait for 9800, if it'll be the last card im gonna buy for 3-4 years.

I haven't had the time to answer everything I could, but for the Q6600, well directcanada has it cheaper... that is if my assumption of you being in Canada is correct.

Q6600 293.99$ In stock

Kilauea --> I am choosing NCIX solely for the reliable reviews and pple stating that they are receiving q6600 gos, which i would like for over clocking. And yes, this is a Canada build. As well, NCIX has a price match policy, it *should* apply to this as well, even though the stock is being drained so quickly.

Kof2000 --> I just added my signature, im using a 2 year old laptop as my main computer, I used to live away from home, so i got it for school, but now im at home... i have no screen, or tower at all. It has the nvidia 6600 go 128

- so again, i'd like advice for a nice motherboard that will give me good results now, and last a few years, doesn't have to be future proof, for it just needs to last, and oc my quad nicely. $100-200
- is the antec 900 a decent case? i am seeing some bad reviews about it not having enough room, i would like something, $100-150 with a gamer/oc in mind, that can fit a THL 120 Ult extreme + 9800 gpu
- a nice psu that will support my setup
-should i wait for 9800? if it'll most likely be the last high end gpu i will buy for a while (4 years)
-http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=19337&vpn=OCZ2P800R22GK&manufacture=OCZ%20Technology --> will these let me overclock q6600 go to 3.0-3.2ghz with ease?
