Need Advice on Buying - Best I can get!

Hey Everyone!

This is my first post on here! :D

So basically, I wanna build a Computer from Scratch!
I'm looking to buy all the parts seperatly! I've built computers before so no problem there! Just need advice on parts I should buy!

The computer is going to be used for Top of the range, HD editing in After Effects & Premiere Pro, Also, 3D Max Studios! & also using programs like Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver & all sorts like that! So am looking for the best I can get really!

My Budget atm is £1,200!! but am willing to invest more as time goes on into stuff like more Ram etc ETC!

Please Help me Pleaseee! :D lol!

If you think I need to spend more, tell me! I just need somewhere to start from so I can get a Idea of what Im after!!

1,200 pounds is plenty for a nice setup. do you have any preference as to websites or stores you want to buy from? give me a link and I'll get started :)

Website preference! I have none! what ever is best for value! give me a Perfect condition product! & will get it to my door asap!! :)

I'll prob order most if not all my parts 2mo!!
Not in a rush with the sound editing stuff! but I THINK (not sure) I need a sound card for premiere pro's sound to work! So ill prob need it aswell!!

The i7's are also nice, but that means changing the motherboard as well, and using triple channel ram, which will push you over budget with the other items selected.
 
I think I'll just stick then!

I just want some Awesome set up thats all! One that will keep me in good standing for awhile!! Could you just link me to a good sound card & checl the case link again for me! :D

& just give me the thumbs up if you think i should go for it & then Ill sleep on it! :)

Hey Linkin!

Extreme Thanks on helpin me out with all the bits! I got everything now! I've built it all together! I just have one small problem I cant seem to trouble shoot! on the boot up, the VGA light on the mother board is showing & i cant seem to find out why! My screen just stays blank! any ideas?

Glad to hear. check all power connections to the motherboard, hard drives and graphics card(s)

If the card has more than one connector it will need all of them. The GTX 480 needs one 8-pin and one 6-pin PCI-E connector.
 
many MANY Thanks! Its all nice now! After So Much time! lol! just the last question now, what drive should I Install Windows onto? the 96GB one or the 2TB one?
