Alright im getting a big tax return and have decided on buying a new comp I have about 3,000(can) to spend, I really like the Hp Firebird 803 but the lack of upgradability is a bit worrisome, I have also looked at alienware stuff but im worried about the customer support, do you guys have any advice or what not?

I would always recommend building a computer...you can get so much more for your money. It's really not as hard as one might think. There are some really good guides to help you through it, not to mention the help you can get here.
If you really just want to buy a complete computer and have no interest in building, I would not get the HP Firebird. For about $2,000 HP will give you what would cost about $800. The only thing that is kinda nice is of course the case. I think it would be a complete waste of tax return money
