ok hi, i need advice on my computer, first things first my current specs...

motherboard: avivus AGP 8X
Protsessor: Intel Celeron 2.80GHz
Ram: 2.5 Gb DDr
Video card: Ati Radeon X1950 Pro Agp 512 Mb 256 bites DAC 400mhz
PowerSupply: Hiper 560w
Hard Drive: 80GB Exselctor 7200rpm

And the questions are...

1. Can I but a Dual Core protsessor on a AGP motherboard
2. If I can will it help
3. Is there anything else i can do to upgrade my performance

And for the record i`m Quite eagerly waiting for the Gears Of War on Pc
and i m planning of playing with this computer for a year before i`ll buy a new one so any help will be greatly appriciated. THx

You'd be better with a new pc, since that system is kinda OLD plus never hear of avivus mother boards, hdd is made from a bad company

So is it bossible that my hdd is slowing my computer down allso??
I had Vista for a while and it gave my hdd 5.4 raiting

Still asrock isn't a good brand for mother board, and yea is more than possible than that hdd is slowing down

Bloody... am not very geen on spending my money for a new computer since my car is in a bad shape...so if u have any idea how i can save my wallet for a year or half or the new computer will be cheaper??+ i looked it up and it seems that the video card is worth more than this computer all togheder...and well selling it will be just a pain in the ... and getting even
500 usd for it sounds like fairidale...

i think your processor is a big bottleneck for that Ati Radeon X1950 Pro ;)

the only thing on this computer is the video card and thats the only problem since there is no reason to buy a new AGP motherboard i mean if i gept the powersupply, roms and the case and sell everything else then buying a new one piece by piece...ill need to calculate a little.

i think that to but to go ahead and but a dual core on this sistem and a new hdd?? or to buy a new spend a little more and get cpu thats more up to date and using ddr2 ram??

Ok thanks for help but i found a solutsion to my problem and it costs around 100 usd
