Need Advice Regarding Device

Can anyone help me.

I have a Lenovo Laptop that I use when travelling abroad on business.

However this is too big to use on an aircraft when in economy seating.

I need a device that is small and portable (can be carried in the same case as my Lenovo), which has a good sized and dependable keyboard. I also need this device for meetings, that can be used as a tablet, to allow me to take hand-written notes (maybe with a stylus)...so the device can also replace my note-pad...

I need this device to be able to use MS Word and Excel...so I can transfer documents and work easily between laptops/ devices.

I've had a look at the iPad, but this doesnt seem to easily accommodate Word and Excel, and I don't think it can be used as a tablet...

Any suggestions regarding which device fits the bill?

I have a Toshiba NB250-255 10" display it's a great small netbook, I upgraded my RAM from one to two Gb but it did pretty good on just one. It can run movies and I installed and early copy of MS Word and it works just fine. I like having this small netbook also because it give a full six hours of true battery life.
