hi, i am planning to buy a graphics card, and i have a budget of $200 (Canadian dollars - i live in Toronto). Which card do u recommend? And where can i buy it for cheaper price in Toronto?

the 6600GT is a decent bet, those can be had for 170 or so if not less, i was just looking at some refurbished X800s on newegg.com for less than 200 US dollars...i would plan for the future and get something besides a 6600GT, the 6600GT is a formidable card now, but i think its 128mb of memory and 128-bit memory may limit things in the future, and it only has 8 pixel pipelines if im not mistaken...check out www.tomshardware.com for some good video card comparisions.

if you can find a good deal on ebay(with good shipping the canada as well as border taxes) then a 6600gt would suit you well. Other than that you should be able to find a 9800pro for around that price or less locally which is not as good as the 6600gt but still a pretty nice card considering the price.
