I have a laptop of mine that's been having problems turning on. It'll go to system restore and attempt to find the problem as to why it can't start up and then it results in unable to find the cause of problem and then shuts down. So what I wanna do is do a clean install of Vista onto my laptop but when I pop in the disk it doesn't take me to the boot menu for Windows Vista installation. I turned it off and back on and it still doesn't read the disk. Is there a manual way on the keyboard or anything to allow it to read the disk? Thank you.

You most likely have to go into the bios and change the first boot device to cdrom and then it should boot to the cd.
