Hey i was wondering if a Seagate 80G 7200RPM ATA-100 8MB Cache [ST380013A] would work on a P3 with a gigabyte motherboard model GA-6VXC7-4X-P?

Yeah that HDD will work with your mobo but the HDD will be bottlenecked at 100mbs per second !. But im not 100% sure so you might want a 2nd opinion.

You may need a BIOS flash to support all 80 Gb but yeah it should work.
