Need Advice

I posetd a few weeks back with no luck...so hope u guys can help out this time....I need a laptop thats lightweight...good battery life....and decent performance..i dont need a gaming laptop or anything...just somethign to kill time in class with the boring lectures and in between classes to carry round campus....do you guys reccommend buying it at a retail store like Circuit City, Best Buy, etc... or from online store like Newegg? can u guys reccommend me any laptops that fit that criteria?

No offense, but, if it's been a week, have you ever thought of doing a search? The good thing about buying a laptop from a local store is the warranty. Many online companies will require you to ship it if you buy from them. Since your requirements don't aren't that heavy, I would just recommend going into some stores and asking the people there. Don't buy it at the first place you go. Get a recommendation for a comp a multiple places then go home and search reviews - or post here asking what is the best.
