ok guys, I posted this on someone elses thread and realized that i was stealing his thread so i made my own. but i am honestly looking for good advice from the people who know. please help me!
im only a sophmore in college and my degree is computer science, basically programming right now and some architectural stuff. by the way i hate programming.
I have worked over the summer being a basic IT guy (desktop support and crap like that). Now I work in the systems (all the servers and crap) at my University. They call me a Student Systems administrator.
but, there is a computer graphics and virtual reality course that i was debating on taking because i think it will be a waste of my time. i am an "artsy" person. i would absolutely love to do computer graphics and desinging logos or something of that nature, but i always thought it is really hard to get a job in that field. i also thought that i would have to move to california which i dont wanna do. am i right with these assumptions?? Also, can u make good money in those fields.
