Need assistance with Win7

Ok, I just had a few questions, i just dont know what to do at the moment.

How will i be able to save everything i have on my pc, and when i install another OS, will i be able to just like copy paste?

If i buy vista now, the one that comes with the coupon thing, will it come with win7 Free upgrade or will it just reduce its price?

I think you will have to backup your data files somehow - and re-install all your applications from scratch after installing your O/S. Could save em on a second internal drive / external drive / burn em onto a CD or DVD.

There might be a dual O/S option - but I don't quite understand that enough to give you advice on it one way or another.

If you buy Vista now - you can buy a $49.00 pre-order upgrade to Windows 7 or buy the OEM or retail version later on at normal prices. You won't get a free coupon thing - unless you buy a new PC with Vista in it.

Yeah all you have to do is when 7 comes out...they will send it you (I think)...you may have to contact them but when you get the copy,Just pop in the cd and choose the "Upgrade" option,It should then upgrade from Vista to windows 7 without the loss of any of your files.

But if i was you i would buy an external hard drive and put all your inportant docs/files on that just incase something does go wrong somewhere along the line. :)
 
i dont want to wait for 3 days to get a new OS, i hope best buy or something has this same deal, the free windows7 deal so i can get it tomorrow.

What sucks is that both my 360s have red rings, and now my Operating system is about to be turned off or somethin lol, so im kinda screwed.
