Need confirmation or advice about my build

I need advice/confirmation that my build will be successful.
Overclocking isnt my priority, but a nice to have to tweak when I have time.
I will most-likely be running Windows 8 for developers (or 7 if theres too much software problems).

My main questions about this build:
Will the heatsink fit with the motherboard and tower chosen?
Selected RAM will fit with the selected heatsink?
Did I pick something that isnt reliable?
Anything to change or suggest?

Note: Unfortunately I can only use Newegg.ca

Thanks

Has a chance to unlock to a X6, plus its unlocked

or, will overclock in general better then the 960T

or, if you in to overclocking. Will overclock better then either of above. Slighlty slower clock for clock then the Phenom II. But overclocks way better and makes up for it.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Interesting, I didn't know they had extra cores that could be unlocked.

I originally picked the CPU (from benchmarks http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html) and Motherboard because of the generally good reputation of ASUS.
There's a special combo for both for 353.98$ (instead of 160+210=370). The combo could not be added to wishlists :P
AMD Phenom II X4 960T (115$) + Mobo 210$ = 325$

Hmm, I wasn't sure that AM3 sockets could only fit AM3+ (AMD FX).
Can the GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ unlock the AMD Phenom II X4 960T Zosma? Also makes both cheaper if it allows a better performance overall if unlocked (170+115=285). However, the Gigabytes seem to have many DOA reviews on their MB and GPUs.

Thanks for the info.
