Need drivers of something?

Hi guys last night I reinstalled a clean version of XP on my laptop because I wanted it to be clean for my dad. It has a 100GB hard drive that's partitioned into two 50GB drives and I accidentally (not knowing what I was doing) installed windows on both partitions so now the only thing on the laptop is two copies of XP. Obviously I only need one so how do I delete the other?
Also I can't figure out how to set up my WIFI to connect to the home network (the WIFI light isn't lit up) and when I go to play a song it says there are no sound devices connected (I'm guessing the driver isn't installed). But on the plus side the Blue tooth is now working which I could never figure out last time.

Any ideas?
Also it's a Dell Inspiron 6400 (the one in my sig)

Which partition is the notebook booting from ?
if it were me I would do it over

or
go to control panel, admin tools
computer mngmnt
then disk management
either the partition you boof from will say system or they both will
here you can format the partition
also your boot.ini file may provide a clue also

now the WI FI
Did you install the drivers for the wi fi ? is the wi fi a card or built into the notebook ?. the router may have encryption set for the wi fi

Well I'm glad to say I figured the sounf and WIFI problem out for myself lol I just went to the Dell website and downloaded the drivers then put them on a usb drive and installed them and its all working great now the partition's. When I turn the computer on it gives me a choice to use Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition or Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition lol so I'm guessing I can run either but I'll try whay you recomended.
It says Drive C is system (that's the drive I want to keep windows on) and drive E is boot (this is the one I want clean) but if it's possible I would like to swap the drive letters around as my Dad is used to installing things on C:\ Drive
