Need external USB port

Hi all, new here. I just got an older compaq 7730mt to use at the shop. I am not computer literate very much but am upgrading to 144MB. Is there a way to add a usb port to hook up a digital camera? It does not seem to have a port like my desktop. OS is windows 98se and this thing seems to work good considering the cost and age. Thanks for any help!

There are PC-Card(PCMCIA) that have USB ports on them, but with such an old laptop, I seriously doubt it'd be worth the upgrade, if it'd even work. Though the actual PC-Card slot hasn't changed, the interface has over time. Some older laptops can't use the new cards.
