this will be my first pc build and i am wondering if i am missing any key components in addition to the above. please feel free to comment on any of the components. my hopes for the pc are that it will be able to play current games, multi task, and be able able to last at least 5 years.
 
i like the build. What about the 45nm CPUs?

Better go Vista if you dont want to upgrade for a while.
 

thanks for the responce. i am now seriously reconsidering buying a quad core since the new intel chips are cheaper (hhad no knowledge they were that cheap). the sony burner looks good also and i am seriously reconsidering to obtaining of of the latter cards.
