Just built my PC and have some question.

1. i'd like to say that everything seem to be working fine.

and the 2 questions that i have are the following...

I have a 750W power supply wich has SLI connector that i hooked up to my 8800GTS video card.. but the card came with it's own SLI connector that u can connect to power supply. Question is should i leave it the way it is or take PS's SLI connector off and connect it through the connector that came with the card?

and 2nd one is
I got this Hard Drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822136012
and it seem to be working quite loud with an open case.. like crackling noise when it's loading something.
I connected to it, IDE power connector to power it up(cuz SATA power connector would not power it up) and SATA Connector to MOBO.... now I can also connect SATA Power Connector to it but i am wondering should I? And is it supposed to be making those noises while it's loading something?

1. Leave it as it is. The connector provided with the card is for use with PSUs that don't have a PCI-E connector on them.

2. You only need one power connector on the drive. A certain amount of noise is normal from the hard drive, it's hard for me to say without hearing it.

thanks buddy!
Well it sounds not too bad just not as quiet as my other HDDs, but i read reviews and all people hearing what i am hearing so i'll get over it.

but is it ok for HDD to be getting power from IDE and not from SATA?

Yep, no problems. The only real difference (aside from the shape of the connector) is that the SATA connector can provided +3.3V power, however current drives aren't using that anyway.
