Need for Speed Most Wanted

I'm having a problem where the game plays fine for about 15 min and then all of a sudden the game gets really jumpy, and almost unplayable. The way to get it to stop is to reboot the computer. I have no clue why it does this. Can anyone help me?

EDIT: I fixed it, I had to set the Affinity to core one on that app.
