Anyone have this game?

I got it a couple days ago, it's the best game ever! :p I'm not usually a PC-gamer (prefer the confort of sitting on my couch that I get from consoles) but I decided to give NFSU a try on the computer. It's even better on the PC then it was when I tried it on my XB :D
 
I have that game and I love it. I would just suggest you get a hand held controller for the game (the ones that look like a PS2 controller). My hand cramped after playing that game for long periods of time using the keyboard. Plus it made playing the game much easier (for me at least).
 
When I played it last year my 1st reaction was: DAMN! My second reaction was: Why cant i wreck the cars???
 
Yeah, it'd be cool if the cars would crash up (because I crash often enough! :p)

I love how you can customize it and stuff. It's made so it makes you feel like you have control over the outcome of your game, but if you look at it, everything is nicely planned out -- so it has the freedom without the usual "what do I do now" feeling you get with other games.
 
LOL true but then again you can just get a car with a massive multiplier, win a few races and get the best car in the game (accoridng to your tastes) heehee

All in a all a decent game... heard Midnight Club 2 was better never tried it tho
 
i like it on ps2 more then on pc but i cant beat one mission to get the 5 spot on circut so i gave up after 2 and a half hours of 2nd places

I've tried MC2 for PS2 a while ago and I loved that too. I forgot about it, so after I have my way with NFSU, I'm going to get that one ;)
 
i have it, it's fun for about a week, then it get's booring.
the multiplayer is dumb, it takes forever to get into a game, then the game is rediclously laggy.
 
ive played this game on ps2...really good game...its fun to upgrade the cars...and since i love cars i loved the game...but its true that it did get boring after a wk or so...i wish that u could choose from upgrades instead of only having like one upgrade available and having to do that upgrade b4 u move on...i wish it had more variety...i havent had a chance to play mp on it tho so i cant say anything about this.
 
I just got NFSU and I'm having a blast with it! I think that they did a nice job with the maps and how they break up the races in to circuits, sprints and drags. The only ones I don't like are the drifting tracks because I suck at those. I'm firmly convinced there are powerful elecromagnets in the walls and that's why I'm constantly hitting them :)


I'll also say that I like Midnight Club 2 a bit better. There's nothing like being able to run over pedestrians and watch them cartwheel in the air while your car has no hood and flames coming out of it!

I've been playing it with a Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Power gamepad.


I'm eagerly awaiting the new Carmageddon I just read about!!!!!!!!

I'm really good at the drifting :D Those are easy for me :cool:

Anyway, I beat the game last night. I played for a long time to finish it yesterday and all I get is like 10 secs worth of cinematics ><
 
LOL if im not mistaken if you have the BIK player you could have watched the cinematics before playing the game :P
