need help 4 games

hello guyz!!
i need help
i have intel pentium 4 ,2.5 ghz processor,n 512mb ram,n 20 gb hard disk,
n 256 3d video card......
and i have problem 4 playing games n its doesnt run like real pentium 4...
what can i do 4 playing games ....should i get 1 gb ram or expend my hard disk....what can i do tell me...

Hi there did you figure it out.
If not what games are you trying to play. Most of the new games like COD4 are pretty intense and your hardware might not be able to handle it. Especially if you don't have graphics card, I didn't see you list any.
But if you want you can build a new rig. for fairly cheap and you would be able to play the latest games. I would strongly suggest you do that instead of buying a graphics card for the system you have. If you're not picky about your processors, I would say look for a AMD, Motherboard combo, say from
www.tigerdirect.com and start from there. Get a atleast a dual core 2.6Gig processor, you should be able to find some good deals, and if you call them, one of the techs should be able to help you out. Then after that, look for a crossfire graphics card of atleast 512mb. With a setup like that and overclocking, you should be able to run anything out there right now.
If you want to stick to intel, it will be a bit more expensive but look for the same specs. Else you could just buy an Nvidia graphics card and run it on your system. Make sure the parts are compatible though.

Firstly, please try to type correctly. Your video card is REALLY outdated, so you need to upgrade that. You pretty much want 2GB ram, 160GB HDD, 2.0 GHz dual core proc, AT LEAST the 8600GT to play the games that are out there. If you want to play them look nice and all, my machine is in my sig, I have 4GB RAM 8600GTS 2.1GHz stock dual core proc, and I play crysis pretty nice, with almost all high setting and 1024x768. If you have the money go for intel, for example the E8400 Proc, 4GB RAM, 4850, and then you will have a nice machine. And buy from newegg.com, not tiger direct.
