hi guys, my computer died recently and so i had to re install xp. (its xp pro if that makes a difference.)
my problem is that i cant install a sound card driver. when i try and install it it says:

ive tried continuing but the computer then becomes unusable, glitching at everything.
pleeeease can you help me sort this problem.
my motherboard is the intel d865gcl, and i have tried downloading lots of different software, mainly the realtec stuff, and soundmax.
