Need HELP booting up -- ERROR MESSAGE ATTACHED

Hey guys,
just a couple of days ago my computer started giving me problems out of nowhere. As i start up the computer everything goes smoothly until Windows starts loading. A few seconds after that a blue screen of death appears ( I have attached a picture of the message) Please look at the message and let me know what i should do to to fix it.(Keep in mind i did not install any new software or hardware in recent weeks...so i have no idea as to what promted this )

Please click on the attached image to see the error screen... and yes i tried rebooting a number of times even in windows safe mode and so far nothing has worked ... PLEASE HELP

Before Windows loads, press F8 and see if you can enter into safe mode. Have you tried that yet?

tried the safe mode...didn't work...any other ideas??

SATA or IDE hard drive? Does Windows begin to load files when you attempt to boot into safe mode? Do you get a menu w/ options?

it's a Western Digital's Raptor WD740GD SATA hard drive
