Need Help Building My First Rig

Whatup y'all. I figure you must get these posts pretty damn often but I guess that's what forums like this are here for, amirite?

Here's the deal. I need to build a PC that'll run SC2/WoW on maxed(or at least relatively high) settings if possible, along with some other random FPS games. I want it to run smooth and I'm hoping to be able to upgrade the computer down the road when I have the money and/or when I need to.

I'm hoping you guys know what kind of hardware I'll need for this because I'm pretty near clueless.

I don't want to be too quick to set a budget before knowing what I need. But I'm hoping to keep the whole system(including screen, keyboard, mouse, tax etc.) under 1500. This might be impossible but I'm fine with adjusting my budget later.

So. You're the pros. What should I be looking at? (Sorry if I'm giving you guys nothing to build on, but like I said I have no idea where to start)

You can make a build like that for around 1200 or 1300 check my signature. It will look something like that. SCII runs around 100fps for me sometimes it gets to 125fps.

You can save money if you get a cheaper Motherboard than I have. You can also downgrade my GPU to a 6870, which will still run most everything on high, while saving near $100. Windows ultimate isn't necessary either.
