need help buying laptop

hello. my names is anthony. i would appreciate if any someone could help me pick a laptop. i Need a good laptob that can hold alot of memory becuase i will be storing alot of music and videos in there. you see i have sony acid and i like to record music and i also have a video editing software and i also edit videos and make my own movies. so does any one know what brand or any specific laptop that is good for this type of stuff? thank you
 
Just to let you know that memory doesn't really store your music and videos. That would be your hard drive. Do you have a price range?
 
Try looking at Dell or HP and try customizing some of the laptop to get a general idea of how much your configuration would be. Have you considered having a desktop? I mean if storage space is what you are looking, then desktop can have more than 500GB of space to store all your videos and musics. While for laptop, the biggest I have seen was like 240GB (2x120GB, yea they give you two).
