need help choosing a GPu

i have two choses

the first is to buy an AGP card for the old pc that already has 1Gb of RAM
but wont support a core duo processor
the other is to buy a slim line pci-e card and 512mb of ram for the new pc
that will support an Amd x2 processor

i am using this for gaming if that helps

slim line then later on upgrade your ram cause i get tons of lag with 512 and a amdx2 is alot better then a pentium or the first one if thats what u have pci-express is a lot faster bus speed

the pc needing the slim line already has 512mb of ram so the extra 512 is just make up a gig

I'd get an AGP card for the computer with 1GB of RAM in already, there you have a bases of a good gaming computer! You can get a decent AGP card at a resonable price now.

EDIT: Also, Low profile PCI-e cards aren't all that good, infact I think the best low profile PCI-e isn't as good as most AGP cards.
