need help choosing a new comp

i going to buy a new comp, but from who?
i thought about going for a very cheap computer from Mdg(well known across Canada) or go pay a little more from a more trustworthy place that a satisified buddy of mine got his, or go for a top of the line from aleinware, and pay lots more
 
MDG is indeed known across Canada except they arent known *well* (at least by people in the know)

Alienware is a nice route too and they arent expensive as you might think (they did a Alienware, FalconNW, Dell XPS showdown awhile back, Alie was cheapest by a significant margin)

Your best bet is prolly to build it yourself or get it from a small store and/or friend to build it :)
 
if you have the money go alienware if you dont get dell duno about MDG (in us)
but i would recomend to build your own, im gonna go for it this xmas and it doesnt seem hard at all
 
Or better yet if you dont really want to do any of those: goto a small local computer store and look at the preassembled systems they have (think christmas sales) :)
