Need help deciding

So i have never purchased a graphic card and im not to sure what im looking for, lower end wise. Im looking for a gpu that is sub $100 and is used for vid/pic editing and minor gaming and media. Also dual monitor support would b great. Im just building a low end gaming rig/multi media comp and my onboard graphics (ATI Radeon HD 3200) are good but i want more. And im not against ati or nvidia which ever is the best bang for the buck.

The HD 3870 is also a good choice. Costs less too. not as good as the 485- though. it also uses less power i think.
