So all of a sudden my graphics card (Nvidia GeForce 6600GT 128mb DDR3) started doing funny things. First the display started to flicker on and off at times and then got even worse and now to displays nothing at times. I sent it in to be looked at and the guy said that nothing was wrong.
Do any of you know what the cause could be and how i could solve it ( i suspect it might be that it is not getting enough power)

I have a Gigabyte GA-945GM-S2 motherboard and a Proline psu with an output of 400W.

Any Ideas?

Check the cable that plugs into the back of the monitor and make sure it's tight. Jiggle it and see if that causes any flickering. An overheating or malfunctioning graphics card doesn't typically cause flickering, but a malfunctioning monitor can.

I've already done that. I am using the integated graphics at the moment and the display has not flickered once.

Although technically that PSU should have enough power, I believe it could be failing to provide stable 12V rail amps. I would test with another psu if possible, or test the GPU in another computer.

Do you have a multimeter?
