Need help finding a good GPU.

i am looking for a GPU card for my D530 HP. I have 2 PCI slots and 1 AGP slot available.
I am looking to do some real light gaming (nothing demanding, the built in covers it) and I want the ability to run the computer off my 32'' HDTV (has Svideo and HDMI)

thanks in advance for your help.

Hmmm... AGP will limit you a fair bit. And it will be expensive as it is outdated.

Wait, I've had one of those HP systems, is it a slimline desktop model? If so you'll need a half height card with low profile bracket as well. this is going to be fun. Also, that particular machine is very picky with what cards it will take. It didn't like my Radeon 9600 :o

You'll need a new PSU. It will make things alot less stressful, and will adhere to your power demands with a new GPU easily. Get this PSU and this GPU. It's probably overkill for your gaming, though you may need the grunt for powering all those pixels in that 32" HDTV. It's the most powerful gaming AGP card ever. I think.

I am not looking for overkill.

Is there no cards that have s video that do not require a PSU swap?? Its going to be easier to build a whole new computer than to try to get a new PSU into it. Ive been down that road before.

P.S. your PSU link is a dud. It dont link to anything.

Previous post edited. There is, but they will be little or no improvement over your integrated graphics.

ok then. I guess i am stuck with the crappy onboard graphics then.
replacing the PSU will not be possible, as the case will not accept a ATX PSU. They are simply too big.

(FYI, Im in the USA.)
