Need help finding a new video card

I have a budget of roughly $150 but if I HAVE to I can push it possibly to $200. I have a 4k TV and I REALLY want to be able to use it to its potential. I don't play heavily intense graphics games, I use my xbox for most of that... But I am thinking of starting to switch over to PC. When I do play games its mostly Minecraft and Kerbal Space Program. I enjoy games like borderlands as well though. I have Netflix and want to be able to watch the 4K stuff and if my graphics can't ramp up to 4K there isn't much point.

Doesn't matter about the wattage, as the brand of power supply. If its a crappy unit, you'll need to upgrade. Do you know the model number of power supply? Once that is determined, we can recommend what card to get.

I would recommend a GTX 950. All it needs is a 6 pin power connector, and a 350W PSU.

However if you don't want to bother with your PSU, a GTX 750TI would work as well.

Thanks :-)
I cant tell, do you know if either of them support HDMI 2.0? It looks like the 750TI does based on the 4096 x 2160 and is it safe to assume the GTX950 is as well?
IT looks like the 750 is only DirectX 11.2 instead of 12, will that matter much?

Thanks :)

I would strongly recommend the GTX 950, as it can even play newer games on high/maxed settings, and supports DX12, and better specs and whatnot.
I dont know for a fact, but I would assume it does.

There's nothing to learn about DisplayPort. It's like HDMI except it doesn't transfer audio.

Hmm... Now I am looking at LOTS of options :) I like that. I took a quick glance into my PC when I got home and I think I got a PSU with no 6 pin :-( It has a couple SSD plugs which at 1st glance I thought were the 6pin connectors. rats.

I really want to have DirectX 12 capable, so it looks like I am screwed unless I get a new PSU. So... what do I get for a new PSU? Obviously I want as cheep as possible because as it is, it looks like I am going over my limit on the GPU, and my wife is going to kill me since I just bought one lol

would that work?
