Need help finding a printer.

So we got an HP Laptop for Christmas, it's a great laptop. The only flaw is that it runs Windows 7. I have two printers on my network an HP Office Jet G85 and a Epson Stylus Photo R300, we bought both of these printers years before Windows 7 came out and it seems like neither company is interested in making Window 7 drivers for these printers. This creates a problem for me because I can no longer print wirelessly over my network to the computers where these printers are connected to. I contacted HP and they swear they will have a driver for the Office Jet by the end of this month, I think they were pulling my chain just to get me off the phone because we bought this printer back in 2002 and I bet by now they want me to upgrade. The Epson I am shocked that they haven't made a driver since I bought this printer back in 2006. I have come to the conclusion that these companies are out to pry some cash from my hands.

Anyway I need a replacement printer that is compatible with Windows 7. I have a cabinet above my microwave that has a power outlet. I was thinking this is the perfect place to put a printer, however I need to be 100% sure the printer will fit into this space when fully opened up. So the printer can be no larger than: 10" inches deep, 11" inches high, and 28" inches wide. Finally the printer needs to have a wireless card since this time it won't be attached to a computer. I have been searching and so far I haven't found any printer that meets all these requirements. If anyone has some ideas please share them with me. This printer only needs to print in color and black/white. I don't need an all in one or anything like that. Just a simple printer, with good print quality. Thanks. :)

All my printers are older. i had problems also and would at least try it. worse case still won't work.
after turning on printer.
right click desktop
control panel
hardware and sound
view devices and printers (if its there can you right click troubleshoot).
if not back up one time. back to hardware and sound.
add a device.

i made another comment about troubleshooting usb devices.

Yeah I did this, it didn't find any printers. When I hit "Add Printer" it found both printers on my network but I couldn't go beyond that since it didn't find a driver for either printer. I have to say this must be some conspiracy for the printer companies to make some money off us. I could understand why they didn't make a Windows 7 driver for my HP printer because it's 8 years old but they should have offered a driver for my Epson thats only 3 1/2 years old.

It's just for money, and I don't like the idea of throwing out a printer that works perfectly fine to line the pockets of some greedy bastards. Sorry about the rant but this whole thing has me fired up.

i had many issues. my learning curve. forget the share printer idea for now. do it later. hook up the printer to your computer on a temp basis. install the software as mentioned. the link is where i actually found the issue. I did find a generic driver for the device. including the wireless. not the same printer though. the other comment was a thought and may be helpful later.

It's a laptop man it's supposed to be all wireless, and where the laptop is now (In the Kitchen) we don't have enough room for a printer without making the area look like crap.
