You simply have to find a board that runs the Pentium D and includes a PCI-Express 16x type vga slot. Most will want a good 500w+ supply in their case as well. A video card's capatibility has far more to do with the board then what make and model cpu is in use. Video cards are made with a certain degree of backward compatibility for older boards that support that type of card. But a $200-$300 card on a $50 board? That's overkill! If you are spending big money on a card go for a good make and model board, cpu, and memory and update the system.
