Need help getting remote to work!

I just bought a new remote that is supposed to be plug n' play. It's a Rosewill rrc-126. I'm running Windows 7 64bit. I just built a new system and was using the unbranded remote that came with my tv tuner card on the old one. When I tried it with the new system it didn't work so I bought the Rosewill and it didn't work ether so not the remote somethings up with my system help me.

Although its plug and play, once you have plugged it in does anything appear? like a USB symbol with a green circle and white tick? This will appear in the notification area. (Bottom right)

If this does appear and it still doesn't work do the following:

Start -> Right click 'My Computer' -> Click Manage -> Click device manager on the left -> Check if there is anything unusual, like a driver with a caution symbol (Yellow Triangle with white exclamation mark)

If there is a caution symbol you will have to download the driver.

This one is a hard one and may require you to contact the place you baught it from to ask them, although Im sure it should be compatible etc
