Hello!
I want to find newer Wi-Fi adapter, which will work with my old laptop. I don't want to buy the wrong one, so I need help with it.
I want update Realtek adapter to better one with 802.11AC standard for speed increase and 2,4 GHz/5 GHz internet useability.
Mine is: Single Chip Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi 2,4 GHz adapter + Bluetooth 4.0.
Notebook: HP Probook 430 G2 with Intel Core i5-4210U chipset + turbo boost and Windows 10.
Adapter looks like this: attached photo of adapter in notebook and from internet.

For mini PCIe I usually use the Intel 7260 cards which support dual band and 802.11ac, no complaints in an a couple old laptops such as a Gateway MX6959 (2006) and a Dell E6420 ATG (~2012). Note that some notebooks and AIOs will BIOS lock card support.
