Need help on building a new gaming pc

I am looking for build a new gaming pc for the first time since 2006 and looking for some suggestions/help on what to buy. I want to spend about $1000 (I know it's hard to build a GOOD gaming pc with only $1000 - which is why I am posting hereto get some help). I need/want to get a case, motherboard, CPU, graphics card, ram, power supply, HDD, and possibly a SSD along with a HDD.

I am currently only playing Diablo 3 but I will probably play CS:GO when that comes out.

I would appreciate any help and thanks in advance!

$1000 is plenty for a build to play those games. It would be better if you have a HDD you can salvage from a different build, since those are really expensive right now.

After rebates = $798. With the money you're saving here, you can add a good soundcard, another 550ti, and a second hd and be just barely over.
