Need help on getting better stuff for my laptop.

Was wondering how much and what I should do to make my laptop run a bit better and faster?

Its a sony vaio VGN-NR120E/S
1gig ram(needs more)
Dont know what the vid vard is but im assuming it wouldnt hurt to get a nice one.
The cpu isnt bad dual core 1.41 and 1.42 Intel p4
what else could I hook up for this laptop?

Any help is appreciated just stuck on if I should sell the laptop and get a desktop(or build one) or just get some things for the laptop to make it alot nicer?

Most likely you wont be able to upgrade the vid card. You could go for some faster and more Ram though.

It's okay, but not the best. you can't replace the video card because it's onboard (Meaning it's integrated into the mobo).

You could still build a nice desktop I like desktops because they perform better and can be changed more than laptops. Laptops are better for portable computing.
