Need help on internet

Hey . I'm pretty young, but I'm a computer geek..if ya will..

My dad is into computers and security and such..
and he recently has done something with the internet so that me and my brothers desktops can't connect to the wireless..

The Belkin router comes from his main computer..
After a certain time.. the internet shuts down
but the weird thing is.. my AIM still works.

My chatting program, and If i had a multiplayer online game running before the shutdown... it'll keep working even after it.

Its very strange... The Internet browsing wont work either..

My mom's computer connects fine after the hours.. my iTouch can connect, and my PSP can connect... Its only me and my brother

Sounds more like it's your computer, i had a similar problem with an hp, where after like some time it would refuse to connect to wireless.

Or it could be your router going bad.
 
no ... like i said.. My Dad is doing something.. he's a computer geek.. and works for computer people.. he knows his security stuff...

He's doing it so we don't get on too late and such..
