Need help on SLi please replay,

Ok i got 2 GTS 250 and i installed them both and got the SLi bridge but i can't seem to get them to work i mean in nvidia controll pannel there is no SLi tab any thoughts?

It depends on your m/b for some its changed from single to sli in the bios and others there is a switch between the x16 pc-i slots on the motherboard

urm my mother board is Asus M3A32-MVP DELUXE 790GFX if that help you any stop i heard that some have a switch i have looked for one maybe i missed it i havn't yet looked in bios yet tbh i wouldn't know where to start in the bios

Go into your bios, click on the advanced tab, then click on chipset and then there should be an option norm pci configuration (for single or sli) click on this and ensure this is set to sli

Hmm still not working , does it matter that i am using Alienware...

plus one is a Gainward gts250 and the other is a egva gts 250, and one is pugged into the bllue PCIE and the other into the black PCIE not both in blue ones or both in black, because my bridge is not big enough for that,

They should be in the same coloured connector, also with same sli boards you do have to have the same cards for sli to work but your bridge should connect both gpus on same coloured slot
Also is your board sli or crossfire?

shit i have no idea if they are SLi or Crossfire, i mean i got this computer about 1 year ago it was a Alienware prebuilt for me and i basicly got me into all this computer stuff how do i find out what my board is?

You have a Crossfire board, not SLI.

My manual talks about both of them... but i think it is SLi because nvidia is SLi and ATI are crossfire right?

Nvidia chipsets for AMD's don't overclock cpu's very well. Are you an overclocker?
