Need help on testing PC

Hi guys! Im done installing everything on my new PC, now Im a bit confused about the installation of software. Which one do I need to install first, is it the motherboard software or the hardrive, can anybody tell me the installation sequence.

I do mobo first...but i really dont think it matters unless your drive is uber old or your board is uber old.

you shouldn't have to update anything on your motherboard, so I would go ahead and install the OS on the hard drive but if you run into in bios type problems then I would worry about updating it on the mobo.

- Mobo drivers
- Video drivers
- Sound drivers
- Other drivers
- DirectX (unless you've slipstreamed it)
- Patches
- Whatever
