i gotta monitor n its max resolution is 1280X1024(let me kno wut u think about that) and i was just wonderin if with these specs:

1280x1024 is the standard resolution for most 17'' and 19'' LCDs. That resolution is plenty for an LCD. You will be able to play your games on high settings, but the highest resolution will be 1280x1024. I'm not sure, but I think CRTs can go to higher resolutions than LCDs (not sure!)
I myself have a 19'' LCD that runs at 1280x1024, and it looks great!
 
You should be able to play most games without a problem, but that 7800GT won't last you forever, though it will do a good job playing the games now-a-days. 2 gigs of RAM was a good choice (though check the CAS latencies), and the X2 3800+ is adequate.
