I need a new laptop, i want it to be uberly good are there any out there that you could suggest to me that aren't ridiculously expensive, and are pretty decent machines.
A little more info please. Since you want it to be good, I'm assuming you want atleast a 160GB HDD, 2GB Ram, Vista, a C2D T5500 or better, now would you want onboard graphics? or something like an Nvidia Go 7600, Go 7900, or one of the 8 series?
what's your price range? 1300 and under? is that with tax? Do you want a 14.1, 15.4 or 17.0 widescreen? Vista Premium or Vista Ultimate? Tv Tuner? Webcam...1.3MP or 2.0MP? Bluetooth? Finger print scanner? All these things we need to know so we can suggest a perfect laptop. I don't know much about the AMD dual cores, but I bet something like a C2d t7100 would blow away and AMD.
